ABOUT ME

My name is Meagan Holden and I am an associate marriage and family therapist. I am also a mother of two young daughters, a wife, and a former anesthesiologist and critical care doctor. I love nature, travel, delicious food (and cooking it), and believe deeply that therapy can be transformational.

I graduated from Stanford University in 2001 with a BA with honors in Human Biology. I returned to Stanford University for my MD, graduating in 2007. I completed my medical internship at California Pacific Medical Center. Then I went on to the University of California San Francisco to complete my residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. After over 20 years in medicine, I decided to return to school at the California Institute of Integral Studies to receive my MA in Integral Psychology. I am currently earning my hours towards licensure.
